About Library

The BCAS Library serves as the heart of the institution, housing a vast array of books and reference materials tailored to meet the academic and research requirements of both students and faculty. The Library is organized into several sections, including the Reference section, circulation section, and periodical section. Furthermore, the Library actively invites all students and faculty to suggest new titles to enhance its collection.

Our College library's goal is to create an environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and social, cultural and professional development of students, Research Scholars and Faculty members.

  • The BCAS Library serves as a storehouse of knowledge with 18535 volumes of books.
  • Subscribed to 67 Journals and Magazines including 11 International journals and leading 10 newspapers.
  • The information bank includes Journals, Magazines and books CD-ROMs.
  • Membership is open to the faculty, research scholars, and students and non-teaching.
  • The library and information centre consists a Reference section, circulation section periodical section. 
  • Enormous reference collection includes directories, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, yearbooks, handbooks, annual publications etc.
  • Computer assisted book-searching facility.

The Book Bank facility is available in our library with 555 books for the benefit of all students with open access
