Overview

The Department of Commerce (Computer Applications) was founded in the academic year 2000-2001. It evolved into a postgraduate department in 2002, offering both B.Com (Computer Applications) and M.Com (Computer Applications). In 2015, the department expanded its academic scope further by introducing M.Phil and Ph.D programme, available in both full-time and part-time formats, with a focus on research and innovation.

The department is dedicated to fostering holistic development through a balanced approach to knowledge enhancement, ethical values, and innovative thinking. It nurtures leadership qualities, offers mentorship, and equips students with entrepreneurial skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for the dynamic demands of the corporate world.
