Micro and Macro Algae Cultivation (Spirulina and Azolla) and E-Commerce:

The Department of Microbiology organized an entrepreneurial certificate course on “Micro and Macro Algae Cultivation (Spirulina and Azolla) and E-Commerce”. The course was conducted by Mr. V. Jothiprasath, M.Sc., PGDCA, Founder and Head of Futuristic Bioscience and E-Commerce Training Center, Gobi. Mr. Jothiprasath successfully led the training sessions, which included both theoretical classes and practical cultivation techniques.

Students actively sell Azolla to college students and faculty, using the funds generated to support the development of their ongoing activities. This initiative not only promotes practical learning but also encourages self-sufficiency and entrepreneurial spirit within the student community.
