PG & Research Department of Computer Science

Overview

The Department of Computer Science is dedicated to providing students with a comprehensive foundation in knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience, preparing them for success in both academic pursuits and the ever-evolving IT industry. Established in 1995, the department offers a range of academic programs, including two undergraduate degrees, a postgraduate course, and opportunities for advanced research at the M.Phil and Ph.D. levels.

Equipped with cutting-edge computer labs and virtual environments, our students have access to a wide array of databases and programming tools essential for their learning. We foster innovation, creativity, and collaboration through student-led coding competitions and various tech challenges. In addition to technical expertise, the department prioritizes the development of critical problem-solving skills, teamwork, and leadership abilities—essential qualities for thriving in the dynamic and competitive IT landscape.
